Plumbing
The refurbishing process begins with a freshly-painted M7 frame.
New OEM tanks installed, with all
new fittings and seals. Heat exchangers are installed with new seals
and rings. New tubing is used to plumb the entire machine. Two new
MDX-2 March pumps are installed for the developer and fixer recirculation,
as well as a Gorman-Rupp bellows replenishment pump to insure accurate
replenishment rates. A new incoming water solenoid valve is installed
to facilitate water conservation. The M7B uses only cold water.
Temperature
Sensing
The M7B has two electronically-controlled temperature sensing systems.
The dryer system is controlled through the use of
a new vane switch, new solid-state relay, new dryer thermostat and
a thoroughly-tested used dryer heater element. All of this is controlled
by the PCB100 Board (new or reconditioned), and protected by a new
dryer OT thermostat. All M7B's come equipped with an upgraded, four-wire,
clutch-protected reconditioned dryer assembly.
The developer
temperature system is controlled and monitored through the use of
a new developer thermistor, new solid-state relay and a new or used
(thoroughly tested) developer heater. This system is protected by
an overtemp protection circuit and a new developer OT is installed.
All functions of the M7B
(including the protection circuit) are
controlled and monitored by a reconditioned PCB100 board.
The March recirculation
pump keeps the developer constantly circulating ensuring temperature
uniformity and is filtered through a new OEM filter canister.
External
Features
The M7B frame is encased in "greige" colored removable metal panels.
Electrical
Requirements
This unit requires 240 volts. 25 amp.
Water
Requirements
The M7B uses cold water. Other specs available upon request.
Controlled
Testing Environment
TI-BA refurbished processors are tested for a minimum of 36 hours
to ensure trouble-free operation prior to shipment to customer locations.
All adjustments and calibrations are performed during this period.

Electrical
The reused electrical control box is completely reconditioned,
using new relays, switches, circuit breakers and a new main
wire harness. Those components that are reused have all been
thoroughly tested and verified for accuracy. A new reconditioned
PCB100 board is used to control the functions of the M7B,
including the automatic standby feature, which helps to conserve
power, water and unnecessary wear and tear on the parts while
the machine stays ready to process film at the push of a button.
Drive
and Transport
At the heart of the M7B are the drive and transport assemblies.
The drive assembly is completely refurbished, using a new
drive shaft, new bearings and worm gears. The dryer drive
assembly is thoroughly reconditioned using new gears, bearings,
new sprocket and chain. A reconditioned drive motor complete
the drive assembly.
The final
and most important assembly is the rack transport assembly.
TI-BA uses only the highest-quality rollers to insure optimum
developing results. The M7B system includes developer, fixer,
wash (silicone), developer/fixer crossover, fixer/wash crossover
and a reconditioned dryer assembly.
