Computed Radiography (CR)
Computed Radiography, more commonly referred to as CR, is a method of digitally capturing x-ray images for electronic review on a computer monitor. CR systems utilize standard sized cassettes, like film, but rather than using disposable media CR cassettes contain reusable plates that record radiographic images on photostimulable phosphor plates. The acquired image data is converted to electronic signals and digitized so they can be viewed, stored and manipulated on a computer and displayed on a high-resolution monitor, stored to PACS archive or printed on film using a dry laser printer.
TI-BA distributes CR systems for Carestream Health and 3DISC. We offer both medical and veterinary CR systems as well as a suite of PACS software solutions developed by RadInfo Systems. We intergrate, support and sell all of our products exclusively through our national network of x-ray dealers. Working with your x-ray dealer ensures that you will receive the highest level of service and support for your new digital system.
