Intelligent cloud solution for telemedicine and archiving
ORCA is a cost effective, cloud based option for long term archiving of data and images for hospitals and practices. At the same time, ORCA serves as a platform for communication with external partners. With ORCA images and diagnostic reports can be exchanged with colleagues, specialists and staff. It can even be used as an easy means to forward image data to owners.
ORCA includes its own web image viewer. Offices have the ability to add as many additional user licenses as needed for an additional fee. Both the ORCA Cloud service and the web viewers are charged annually, storage is based on the amount of data that is sent to the cloud each year.
ORCA has two functions:
“Archive” function: Extension of the PACS system – images and documents are not exclusively stored on the clinic or practice infrastructure (server) but in a customer-specific long-term cloud archive with automatic data backup including extraordinary security standards.
“Share” function: Easy availability of images and data for third parties (online via cloud), such as mobile equine vets or a stud farm owner ordering a pre-purchase examination.
